Climate Journalist

I am a journalist and audio producer reporting mostly on climate change. I enjoy quirky takes, wonky deep dives, surprising narratives and actionable solutions.

This summer, I hosted the Bristol Bay Fisheries Report for KDLG, an NPR station in Dillingham, Alaska. I scrambled aboard fishing boats and sloshed my way upstream alongside spawning salmon. Now I am back home in Brooklyn, eating my way through a freezer full of fish.

I am a proud member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, IRE and NLGJA—and of a community of joyful, determined freelancers without whose cameraderie I could not do this work. I graduated from NYU with an MFA in Literary Reportage.

In addition to reporting, I also edit and fact check science stories. Before becoming a journalist, I planned giant murals; now, I plan weekly soup nights. Pitch me, hire me, or reach out to chat.
