Freelance Climate Journalist

I am a journalist and audio producer from Northern California, currently based in Brooklyn. Mostly, I write about how climate change is reshaping communities and what we can do about it. My stories about the fossil fuel industry and climate action have been republished through Climate Desk.

Recently, I've been indulging my nostalgia for green space by writing about trees: In-N-Out Burger's palm tree plans, why fungi are experiencing inflation and what redwoods can expect from the next 2,000 years. I also report on health, technology and culture: Read about how Wi-Fi is watching you, what California buys at Walgreens and why you might be a worm.

I am a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and IRE. I'm available for reporting, editing, and fact checking. Get in touch here.
